Rising Costs and License Plate Cameras: Northampton Township's Choice in the 2026 State Senate Race

What Northampton Township Voters Are Deciding

If you live in Northampton Township, Bucks County, you're in Pennsylvania State Senate District 6, and the district's towns head to the polls on November 3, 2026, with Democratic nominee Eileen Hartnett Albillar running against the Republican incumbent.

Hartnett Albillar serves as Bucks County Clerk of Courts and is a former Warrington Township supervisor with a background in social work and nonprofit leadership. Her campaign centers on lowering costs, growing the local economy, and fully funding public schools, and she has said families are struggling to make ends meet.

Where Eileen Hartnett Albillar Stands on Household Costs

Hartnett Albillar supports the Pennsylvania Senate Democrats' Affordability Action Plan to lower everyday family costs, backs state housing packages to increase housing supply, and supports state education funding models that relieve local property tax pressure.

The incumbent, for his part, led a coalition of lower Bucks County GOP lawmakers urging PECO to withdraw planned utility rate hikes and backs the Republican "Freedom Through Affordability" initiative. Those are targeted responses to specific rate hikes and initiatives. Hartnett Albillar's agenda pairs that kind of relief with structural fixes: increasing housing supply, and shifting more school funding to the state so local property taxes face less pressure.

She has also made privacy part of the case. Hartnett Albillar says Pennsylvanians deserve safe communities but also privacy, accountability, and transparency, and that no Pennsylvanian should have to wonder whether every trip to work, church, a doctor's office, or a political event is being logged, analyzed, and stored indefinitely.

The Choice Northampton Township Faces on November 3

Northampton Township voters who want structural relief on household costs, stronger school funding, and a state senator who takes privacy seriously should support Eileen Hartnett Albillar for State Senate District 6. Register by October 19, 2026 if you haven't yet, and plan to vote for Eileen Hartnett Albillar on November 3.
