How does Eileen Hartnett Albillar compare herself to her opponent, Frank Farry?

Eileen Hartnett Albillar thinks the simplest way to answer this is to look at where things stand after 17 years of Frank Farry in Harrisburg, and ask whether Bucks County families are better off.

SEPTA is still in crisis. The funding gap has been real and growing for years, and thousands of Bucks County commuters depend on that system to get to work, medical appointments, and school. Frank Farry has been in elected office since 2009 and has failed at solving this issue. At some point, voters have to ask why.

The same is true across the board:

  • Costs keep rising — housing, utilities, groceries, childcare — and Farry and his Republican colleagues haven’t delivered enough meaningful relief for working families.

  • Schools are still underfunded, still relying too heavily on local property taxes, and still waiting for the fair funding formula that Pennsylvania’s own courts have said is overdue.

  • Healthcare access hasn’t improved. Medicaid is under threat from federal cuts, and Harrisburg hasn’t stepped up to fill the gap.

  • Reproductive rights remain at risk, and Bucks County families deserve a senator who will protect them — not leave them vulnerable to restrictions from the right-wing caucus in the Republican Senate.

Here’s what Albillar brings that’s different:

  • Albillar has actually administered the programs that help families in crisis — housing assistance, energy assistance, and food assistance. She knows how these systems work and where they break down, because she’s been on the front lines.

  • Albillar delivered real results at every level she served — as a Township Supervisor, she helped build a police station and preserve open space. As Clerk of Courts, she launched the DRiP program that has recovered more than $3 million for crime victims.

  • Albillar already won a countywide election in Bucks County. She knows this community. She was born and raised here, she’s raised her kids here, and she’s spent her career serving the people who live here.

Additionally, this campaign has strong support from leaders who know what it takes to deliver for Bucks County. Albillar is proud to be endorsed by Senate Democratic Leader Jay Costa, State Senator Steve Santarsiero, Bucks County Commissioners Bob Harvie and Diane Ellis-Marseglia, Sheriff Danny Ciesler, Prothonotary Donna Petrecco, Emily's List, and Represent PA — all standing behind this campaign because they know the 6th District needs new energy and real representation.
