Building An Economy That Works For Everyone

As a former supervisor and small business owner, I believe in empowering municipalities to make the best decisions for themselves when it comes to economic development, but there are some tools we must give municipalities at the state level to help them grow. We must raise the minimum wage so folks can continue to afford to live here, we must fully fund SEPTA and all of our infrastructure projects, and develop our communities responsibly.

Together we can build an economy that works for everyone: thriving local businesses, safe and reliable infrastructure, family-sustaining jobs, and opportunities that allow every generation to call our community home.

Raising the minimum wage - I’ve worked with many families who work  multiple full-time jobs and still can’t pay their bills. I believe everyone deserves to make a living wage for full time work, no matter if they went to college or not.

Fully funding SEPTA and public transit - Bucks County residents rely on SEPTA to get to work, school, and medical appointments, and our business community relies on transit to keep them in business. We must invest in both our roadways and mass transit to keep Bucks County moving.

Responsible development - Affordable housing opportunities are shrinking; the American dream of buying a home is out of reach. We must lower barriers to entry when building living structures such as AUDs, build more homes, and develop responsibly ensuring access to open space for all.  We must provide enough housing to keep seniors in their homes and allow new families to expand and grow here.
